Around the Altmühltherme

The idyllic town Treuchtlingen lies in the middle of Germany's second biggest natural preserve – the natural preserve Altmühltal. The Altmühltherme Treuchtlingen is an establishment of the public utility Treuchtlingen and has about 80 employed. In 1996 the Altmühltherme was put into operation after 2 years of construction.

With a water area of 3200 square meters, the Altmühltherme is one of the biggest thermal bathes in Germany. Every year over 400.000 visitors from Germany as well as from foreign countries come to the varied landscape. The bath is opened year-around.

The regional hinterland goes from Nuremberg to Augsburg and from Ingolstadt over Nördlingen to Ansbach. With its thermal bath, sauna, slide and wave area, sports bath, Dead Sea Salt Grotto, Spa and catering it offers broad wellness and fun activities.

The Altmühltherme is an established, middle-class company with an active, customer-oriented team. We steadily work on our quality standards and even try to increase them.
