Out-Patient Bath Spa Therapy in Treuchtlingen
Our "outpatient bath therapy" is also known as a "free bath therapy" or an "open bath therapy".  It is the classic medical spa treatment as preventative and rehabilitation treatment. Every member of the statutory health insurance fund and their family members who are insured with them is entitled to this treatment.    
Providing the indications for Treuchtlingen spa waters promise to relieve your symptoms, you are permitted to chose Treuchtlingen as the health resort of your choice after clearance with your doctor and your health insurance fund. Once you know when you would like to come to our health resort, the next step is to decide on where you want to stay (hotel, guesthouse, boarding house or holiday flat) and the type of catering you need.
Out-patient preventive and rehabilitation treatments usually last for 3 weeks.  If the doctor considers it necessary, you can always extend your stay.  

Medical costs are completely reimbursed by the health insurance fund.  Spa costs and treatments incur only the usual own contributions. The social and hardship provisions can be applied here. Children under 18 do not need to make any supplementary payments.

Outpatient medical spa treatments are approved every three years. A subsidy of 13 euro daily is paid for travel costs, accommodation, food and spa resort taxes.  For children with chronic diseases, the subsidy is 12 euro and treatment is not limited to three weeks.
Members of a private health insurance are entitled to the above medical treatments, providing they have chosen a tariff that includes such treatments.  Government aid provisions apply for public sector employees in public service.
